The Macclesfield & District Sheep Dog Trials Association are hosting
The National Championships.

Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th August, 2026.

Spectators welcome each day from 7am (N.B. Thursday from 11am.). Entrance £5 per adult - Children FREE

Refreshments available. Seating. Trade stands. Toilet facilities. FREE on field parking. Club merchandise for sale. Raffle tickets.

On Friday night there is Tug-o-War, music and a bar.

On Saturday and Sunday the marquee holds a craft fair.


On each day there will be sheep dog trialling

Competitiors from all over the UK and abroad will be competing. The English winners going onto the National Championship.


Everyone
is welcome to the Trials. Bring your well-behaved dogs on leads please.

The Macclesfield and District Sheep Dog Trials Association held their first trial on the 1st September, 1945.
There had been previous trials run from the 1920's on Mr May's Wickenford Farm by Forest and District Beagles.
